Hehehe! You're one of my kind now! We're animal fairies who are responsible for the growth of flowers. ( She walks closer to inspect him. ) Aaaaaand it looks like yours are ... violets!
( It's hard for her to muster the strength to. She can hear the dragons roaring - and she knows what's going to happen. They're going to pretend to leave before they set everything ablaze. Hazel wishes she could close her eyes and run away, but while they're here, she has no choice but to get somewhere safe while hearing everything happen all around here. )
Ayaka ... I'm really scared. I can't do this. ( She starts to cry ... the poor thing. )
( Hazel gasps when she sees her friend arrive in her home. She looks absolutely beautiful as a Canter - but unfortunately, she doesn't have the time to admire her in this form right now. )
Y-You're in my home ... the world of the flower fairies. ( With rumbling dragon roars approaching in the distance, she cowers and flinches. ) Sisu - something really bad is going to happen.
( Holy crap! She's awesome! Hazel stares in awe at the woman who appears to rescue her, jaw slack, wincing slightly when she drives her spear into the dragon's neck. While these creatures are technically her aggressors, she dislikes violence and hides behind her wings. (Which isn't all that productive since they're transparent.)
Slowly, she unfurls them, and reveals herself. )
I-I'm okay ... ( Sort of. ) Wow ... that was really brave. Thank you.
( She stumbles over her words because - a princess carry! She can't believe he's princess carrying her after unleashing hell on the dragon that came for her! Hazel can't say she's ever been carried like this unprompted before, and.
Does she like it? Yes she does. )
I'm ... okay! Wow, thank you ... ( She needs a moment. Wow. That was a lot. )
( As far as being frozen in fear goes - this is absolutely the case with Hazel. When it boils down to it, she's technically a prey animal, and her instincts guide her in the direction of either freeze or flee. In this case, she is frozen, watching helplessly as the man before her unsheathes his sword to face the dragon terrorising her. )
Yes--( But she doesn't want to stay frozen on the ground forever. If she can muster her courage, she'll help him take down the beast. )
[ Ayaka hasn't even been here for five minutes, and she's already terrified. She can't even begin to imagine what it must feel like for Hazel, who has experienced this first hand and is even experiencing it again.
She steps closer to her friend, although she is not quite sure how to hold Hazel's hand given her current. . . form. ]
Hazel... [ How does she show affection and give comfort at a time like this. . . Would booping her muzzle to Hazel's work? She will do that softly, gently, until she ends up nuzzling the side of her face instead. ]
[ it's fine; hazel can have all of the moments that she needs and sabo won't be in any hurry to put her down until she gives him any kind of signs of discomfort about being held like this. it's just practical to him on the off chance that they both need to move again due to the dragon.
a dragon, which, hasn't lashed out again just yet. ]
But if you don't mind, I'll take my time accepting that thanks. There's still a nasty dragon that needs to be taken care of.
[ now that there isn't anyone in immediate danger, he'll size up the dragon and the damage that it was causing. he'll be sure to keep his tone casual and calm despite the situation. ]
{ he doesn't spare a glance over his shoulder, mostly because if she is too scared to move he isn't confident she'll be able to do anything to fight it either. }
More help should be on the way soon, make sure you call out to someone in that case. I'll attempt to draw it away.
[ It is unfortunate that they have to live through the whole thing again. Once should have been enough. But she takes it upon herself now to provide Hazel the support that she needs. She's here with Hazel now. ]
I won't go anywhere. Please trust in me when I say that.
[ A deep breath. ]
Should we move on? So we can go back to the present.
But it's something to do to adjust to this place so he might as well.
He gives a rough toss of his head and attempts to charge forward. The traction isn't quite the same as paws and the hooves feel heavier on his feet so there is some initial stumbling. But he manages to steady himself through sheer will.
And yes, violets are fluttering behind him as he gallops. ]

Oh, my! You want to fly?
( She flutters her green wings! He's only just transformed into one of her kind, she's curious to see how he fares. )
Give it a try! Let me know if you need any guidance.

Hello, Nen! Welcome to my home!
( Hazel is in her true form here - her Canter form! Of course Nen is still a human, but that's not too out of place for Anther! )
You know, you'd fit right in at the People District! It's the part of my home where my kind enjoy transforming into humans!

You're in Anther! The home of the flower fairies!

How ... can it possibly be okay?
( She has the chance to change things - but how? How can you defeat dragons when you're a tiny plant creature? )
I-I don't know what to do.

It's the flower this world chose for me. I know little of flower language.
And what exactly does your kind mean?

Fun isn't the word I would choose... But it is an experience. It's good for strengthening one's balance and agility.
